Varieties · rights · royalties

From varietyto royalty.

Agreed is the administration system for companies that breed and license fruit varieties. Plant breeders' rights, trademarks, agreements, sales statements and royalties live in one system, and every deadline is monitored.

  • Everything around the variety
  • Stored in Western Europe
  • English, Dutch, German

01 · The problem

Every variety isa stack ofagreements.

A new variety gets plant breeders' rights in one country, a trademark in another, and licenses with nurseries around the world. Every agreement comes with its own deadlines, rates and conditions.

They live in spreadsheets, folders and inboxes. Sales statements arrive from each nursery in a different format. And you only find out a filing deadline is about to pass when someone happens to remember.

Agreed brings it together in one system. Every variety with all its rights, agreements and sales, and a worklist that tells you what needs to happen.

02 · How it works

From contractto royalty.

Follow one license through Agreed: from the signed contract to the royalties it generates. Every agreement works the same way.

  1. Read in

Upload the contract. AI reads the parties, variety, exclusivity and dates. You check it, and only then is it saved.

  2. Record

The agreement is linked to the variety and the territory, next to the plant breeders' rights, the trademarks and all documents.

  3. Monitor

When a deadline approaches, it appears on the worklist. You prepare the renewal in one click and create the document with the document builder.

  4. Settle

Import nursery statements as they arrive. Agreed calculates the royalties per nursery, variety and territory.

03 · The platform

Four leaves.One system.

The Agreed logo is an A made of four leaves. Each leaf is one part of the work. Together they form one system, in which everything points back to the variety.

01 / 04 · Breeding

Varieties & breeding

Every variety with its names, breeder's codes and origin. The pipeline shows where each variety stands, from internal testing to commercial, and flags when a decision is due.

  • Pipeline with phases and decision points
  • Field evaluations per site and season
  • Blind tastings with QR code and scores
  • Visit reports with photos and video, as PDF

02 / 04 · Contracts

Rights & agreements

Plant breeders' rights, patents and trademarks per variety and per territory. Agreed calculates the filing deadline for plant breeders' rights from the first sale, and monitors every agreement up to its last day.

  • PBR with a calculated filing deadline
  • Licenses, collaborations, MoUs and NDAs
  • AI contract scan, checked by you first
  • Document builder with templates per country and language
  • Signing via DocuSign
  • Variety overview as PDF or CSV

03 / 04 · Collaboration

Growers & partners

Nurseries, growers, traders and contacts in one address book, with interactions and follow-up actions. Growers that come in twice are merged in one go.

  • Contacts with interactions and actions
  • Growers and trial sites on the map
  • Visit list for inspectors, read-only
  • Annual invoice calculation per trader

04 / 04 · Growth

Sales & royalties

Import nurseries' sales statements, whatever format they come in. Agreed recognizes the columns, links growers and varieties, and calculates royalties at the rate that applies.

  • Excel and CSV, columns recognized automatically
  • Rates per variety, country, group and year
  • Royalties per quarter or year, with invoice status
  • Analytics and a volume forecast per variety

04 · Deadlines

No deadlineslips byunnoticed.

Agreed tracks nine kinds of deadlines: expiring licenses and contracts, renewals, filing deadlines for plant breeders' rights and patents, phase decisions and open actions. Everything due within 90 or 180 days is on one worklist.

Anything that was never finished surfaces too: an agreement without a document, a right without proof, a date that can't be right. Agreed changes nothing by itself. You handle it, straight from the list.

Everything in the log
Who changed what and what was there before, with undo per line. Sign-ins, downloads and exports are recorded too.
A backup every night
The full database and all documents, in separate storage. On top of that, any moment from the past 30 days can be restored.
Stored in Western Europe
Database and documents are kept with Cloudflare in Western Europe. Data is never sold or shared.
AI inside Cloudflare
The contract scan and the assistant run on Cloudflare itself, without an external AI service. The assistant can only read.

  4. 4

    Live

Every user gets their own role and signs in with a passkey. Every screen has an explanation, and there is a manual.

08 · Questions

Frequently askedquestions.

Who is Agreed for?

For organizations that breed, own or license fruit varieties: breeders, variety owners and the companies that manage varieties on their behalf.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Agreed runs in the browser, on computer, tablet and phone. Add the search app to your home screen in one tap.

Which languages does it support?

The screens are available in English, Dutch and German, set per user. Documents and signing emails can be produced in six languages: also French, Spanish and Polish.

How do sales statements get in?

Nurseries deliver their statements the way they're used to, in Excel or CSV. Agreed recognizes the columns, in English, Dutch or German, and asks when it's unsure whether a grower already exists.

Can licensees or growers log in themselves?

No. Agreed is the variety owner's own system. Outsiders only get a link when needed, for instance to sign or to enter a tasting score.

Does Agreed use AI?

Yes, to read contracts and for the assistant. Both run on Cloudflare itself. A suggestion from the contract scan is only saved once you confirm it, and the assistant can only read.

Can I have documents signed digitally?

Yes, via DocuSign. This requires your own DocuSign subscription. The invitation comes from your own sender address, and the signed copy returns to the file with its certificate.

Where is my data stored?

With Cloudflare in Western Europe. Each organization's data is strictly separated, a backup goes to separate storage every night, and data is never sold or shared.

What does it cost?

That depends on the size of your variety portfolio and the number of users. Book a demo and we'll make you a tailored proposal.

Who is behind it?

Agreed is built and maintained by Six Labs. You talk directly to the people who make it.
